Recently, the project "Support for the Ministry of Justice and Justice Sector Reform" was launched, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). At the documentation stage, OECD experts are meeting with national authorities playing a significant role in the extensive process of justice transformation in our country.
During January 29-30, 2024, Ecaterina Popa, the ad interim Director of NIJ and Olga Marandici, advisor to the Director of NIJ, head of the International Relations Section, had a working visit to Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Ad interim Director, Ecaterina Popa, met on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 with Danko Runic, project manager, and Elena Moisei, senior project officer of the Directorate General of Democracy and Human Dignity - Gender Equality Division of the Council of Europe at the National Institute of Justice. The meeting was also attended by Olga Marandici, advisor to the Director of the NIJ, head of the International Relations Section.
The National Institute of Justice was visited on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, by Rick Lawson, a doctor of law, professor at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, to have a meeting with Ecaterina Popa, ad interim Director of the National Institute of Justice. On behalf of the NIJ, Olga Marandici, advisor to the NIJ Director, head of the International Relations Section, also attended the meeting.
Tuesday, January 23, 2024, took place the Steering Committee meeting for monitoring the implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan (PA) for the Republic of Moldova 2021-2024, in which participated CoE experts and representatives of the beneficiary national authorities.
