Tuesday, January 16, 2024, was launched the online course „Labour rights as human rights”, developed by European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) piloted, at national level by the National Institute of Justice for judges, prosecutors and lawyers providing state-guaranteed legal assistance.

Between January 11-12, 2024, a group of judges and prosecutors attended the first winter school of this year – “Mindfulness: methods and techniques for preventing and managing burnout”. The training activity was organized by the National Institute of Justice and the International Center “La Strada”.

Exchange of information and experience between judicial training institutions, in particular in the areas of initial and continuing training of judges and prosecutors was the main purpose of the visit of representatives of the National Institute of Justice to the Centre for Legal Studies (CEJ) in Lisbon, Portugal. The transfer of expertise was carried out thanks to the Council of Europe within the joint EU-CoE project "Support for justice reform in the Republic of Moldova".

On Friday, December 8, 2023, the ad interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ecaterina Popa, has received the visit of the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, Falk Lange. This is the first visit to the NIJ since the beginning of his mandate.
