On Thursday, March 28, 2024, in hybrid format, took place the trilateral meeting between representatives of the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, the National Institute of Magistracy (NMI) of Romania and the Agency for International Development Cooperation (RoAid).
„The peculiarities of investigating and prosecuting crimes of illegal financing of political parties, electoral contestants, initiative groups, or electoral campaigns. Voter corruption” is the generic of the continuing training course held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice.
On Thursday, March 21, 2024, the ad Interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Adrian Cerbu, attended the scientific conference with international participation „Developing legal research skills, writing and legal argumentation at law faculties”, organized by the Department of Public Law and the Department of Procedural Law at the Law Faculty of the State University of Moldova in partnership with the Organization of the National Center for State Courts Williamsburg (NCSC). The event provided a discussion platform on the implementation of the course on research, writing and legal reasoning in order to develop the necessary skills in the legal professions for students of law faculties.
„Legal writing and reasoning: profile presentation” was the generic of the public lesson held by the EU High Legal Advisor on Justice and Prosecution of the Ministry of Justice, ex-General Prosecutor of Romania, Gabriela Scutea. The event took place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice, attended by the NIJ trainees of the initial training course, promotion of 2023-2025.
As of today, March 20, 2024, the interim Director position at the National Institute of Justice will be filled by Adrian Cerbu, a judge at Criuleni Court (headquarters Dubasari), appointed in accordance with the order signed on March 15 by the Minister of Justice, as per the new amendments to the Law on the National Institute of Justice.
